Isaiah 8:14 (speaks of Christ Jesus in this manner) . . . .
HE shall be a sanctuary, and for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the house of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
Bind up the testimony; seal the law among MY disciples.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no LIGHT in them .

Isaiah 9:6 => for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be on His shoulder: and His name shall be Wonderful, Counselor , THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. . . .. . . .Glory, Glory, among the muck and mire there is hope ! (Mark 11:26 ) But if you do not forgive, neither will your FATHER in HEAVEN forgive your trespasses. )
With so many obstacles before us on the narrow road to eternity may we walk in one accord with ones that are on the path with us. May we have the testimony of John the Baptist- Make straight the way of the LORD, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
May we have the testimony that we gather with Jesus and beware not to scatter with the devil. We may think that we have the upper hand in a conflict between flesh and blood but really we noose our own necks. Cast off the weights that so easily beset us. Choose you this day to be a stepping stone.
